SMMS #104 - Many are blinded by vanity metrics on social media. Consequently, meaning they will associate the amount of engagement with the success of the content. However, you need to be asking yourself "What do I actually want to achieve from social media content creation?".
I can bet your answer is not "get lots of likes". Instead, it will be something such as "generate leads for my business" or "create meaningful connections".
If this is the case then the vanity metrics should not affect your attitude towards the content you produce. As long as you're successfully achieving your desired goal, then the engagement metrics don't matter.
