I sit down with Tina Butler and Simoné Sanders of TABPHE CC(Texas Association of Black Personnel in Higher Education) to discuss the organization's origin story in the mid-90s, their goal of filling voids experienced by community members through events, mentorship and outreach programs, transitioning their community coverage from higher education to school-aged children, the evolution of their annual events including this year's Juneteenth Celebration, and the background of their motto "We Exist to Assist" in episode 160.
