Mike is a former Devgroup – Seal Team Six K9 Handler. Mike was awarded the Silver Star for Bravery as a result of an operation to recover an American Soldier who deserted his post and surrendered to the Taliban in Afghanistan in 2009. During this operation, Mike’s MWD partner Remcio was killed in action, Remco was also awarded the Silver Star for Bravery. He was killed attacking a firing position where two Taliban fighters were engaging Mike and two of his Seal Team. One of his team was wounded in the exchange.
