What is usually thought of as a Caribbean instrument for resorts, something to listen to while sipping pina coladas, or samba music of Trinidad, Scales takes the instrument and reinvents the entire genre. We talk to him about his musical background, stalking Bela Fleck, discuss his album "Pillar" and highlight a few of his works!
