God deserves to be glorified for providing the only means for our peace with Him.

Key Verse: "For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting  Father, Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6

Jesus is the Prince of Peace because:

1. We can have peace with God through Him.
Romans 5:1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Colossians 1:19-20 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.

2. He’s the only one that can make peace with God and man.
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,
Acts 4:12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

3. We can be peace makers through Him in us.
2 Corinthians 5:20  Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 
Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.
