#9 Megan "The Tatty Investor" Ahern: From Trailer Living to Real Estate Success

In Episode 9 of REIA Radio, we welcome Megan Ahern, aka "The Tatty Investor," of Acorn Properties and Acorn Home Staging. Megan's journey from living in a trailer behind her flips in 2018 to building successful businesses, having completed over 30 flips, is nothing short of remarkable.

After extensive research on nearly 50 different real estate markets in the Midwest, Megan and her husband Jeff chose Lincoln, NE, as the place to create their legacy. From flipping houses to acquiring rental properties, they revamped their entire portfolio in 2020 to focus on newer homes for rentals and flips.

Megan's sobriety journey of 6 and a half years led them to dedicate some of their rentals to sober living homes, a decision they take pride in. Throughout this episode, Megan shares invaluable insights and golden nuggets, showcasing her knowledge and experience in the real estate industry.
