1) A free agent has signed, so we talk about why I thought Andrew Heaney might have been a fit for the Indians. We also talk about the MLB trade rumors top 50 free agents and the one player, Mark Canha, projected to sign with the Indians.

2) Looking at the free-agent class, made me think about the 2013 draft. Which has a lot of players who are now free agents. We look at the last time the Indians picked in the top five. It is one of just three times the Indians have had a top-five pick in the last 28 years. It was also the last time the Indians signed a fee agent and cost themselves draft picks.

3) This draft was not the strongest but did have the greatest selections occur on day three. We focus on late day two and day three in general in what turned out to be a rather poor draft for the Indians.
