Jesus’ final challenge to his disciples was go into the world and “disciple” (spiritually apprentice) others. Christ’s intention was for every one of his disciples to become a Mr. Miyagi, Splinter, Yoda, or Batman for the Daniel-sans, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Luke Skywalkers, or Robins in their lives. Whoa. The thought of that scares most Jesus-followers to death, but it is Jesus’ #1 job for His people. It can also be pretty fulfilling and a lot of fun. Man, that Jesus was a smart fella.
