Let's talk about change and why adapting to change can be so difficult.
Change is inevitable, it is all around us and when we expect change we look forward to it, but when it’s unexpected, it seems to appear as a thief in the night.
The only thing between what we are experiencing now and what we want in life; a better job, a relationship, a bigger house, health or money, is fear.
So why do we fear change?
This is because we fear what our lives would look like without what we’ve lost or what we don't have.
What if instead, we thought: what if this was always meant to be? What if there’s someone else for me? What if there’s a better job out there for me? What if this is a step up for me?
If we open up our minds to other possibilities, we make room to have hope for what our future could be and we can be excited for it, instead of mourning what we’ve lost and what our lives could’ve been without it.
It is our choice!
We choose what serves us best. What will enable us to move forward or what will hold us hostage in the past.
