He served in the Israeli Army as Platoon Commander for four years in a technology combat unit.

He led a platform team at Beats Music (later Apple);  was an Engineering manager at OpenTable, and was Director of platform engineering at Saildrone. Currently, Doron is the CTO & co-founder of TryPerDiem, a YC-backed startup.
