Richard spent a few days in LA and got to see some shows, meet some folks, and most importantly, discuss la-la-land's rich musical traditions, specifically those tied to the city's massive Mexican and Central American communities. And who better to shed light on the subject than El Güido, who does music writing, podcasting, radio work and has supported local acts as long as he can remember.
