Hard to believe we’ve done 16 episodes at this point! Thanks for listening.

We sit down with Fred Segal, Twitter influencer and the founder of Freezing Cold Takes. We discuss how he created the idea, how he’s building and managing his now wildly-popular brand, and even dive into a rapid-fire take session towards the end.

BEERS: Jake is coming for people’s neck after they’ve unfairly chirped him giving a good rating on Camp Wannamango from Harpoon! He dives in to what went into it and why it should be in your fridge. Will tries “It’s Complicated Being A Wizard” and rates it live...a sleeper candidate for a hazy NEIPA that should also be stocked in your fridge this summer.

BUSINESS: We talked about TikTok last week, and its potential ban from American soil. Over the weekend, the White House officially called for its removal from the App Store in the USA, citing security risks & concerns of data sharing. Will this kill the careers of thousands of high school influencers? Spoiler...we say yes. We also name Microsoft the Stock of the Week for their interests in buying TikTok’s rights in the USA...you should keep your eyes on the computer typhoon. Also, we welcome back Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley from their SpaceX mission aboard the ISS, as they successfully landed in the Gulf of Mexico on Sunday.

BALLS: A quick session on opt-outs before we head into the interview. Yoenis Céspedes of the Mets didn’t show up to his team’s game on Sunday, and then later decides he’s not playing for the rest of the year. Is this a bad look for him? In the NFL, the Patriots have now received 8 opt-outs from key players for the upcoming year. Despite landing Cam Newton to take over at Quarterback, can the Pats field a competitive team this year?
