On this episode, I'm speaking with Jim Heid, Founder of Craft DnA, the Small Scale Development Forum, the Building Small community, and author of the 2021 book by the same name - Building Small: A Toolkit for Real Estate Entrepreneurs, Civic Leaders, and Great Communities.

Beyond educating and training, Jim developed a twelve-unit infill Cottage Court, and also developed - and now runs - an awarded coworking space in a refurbished bank in his hometown called CraftWork.

Trained as a landscape architect, Jim received a Masters in Real Estate Development from MIT as way to more effectively integrate economics, development, and design thinking.
