More than 800 migrants told to leave NYC shelters under new 60-day rule since last week

Nearly 1,000 adult migrants have been ordered to leave city homeless shelters to make room for migrant families with children under a new policy that took effect last week, according to a top official in Mayor Adams’ administration.
