Japan had won hearts and minds with their adaptable, swash-buckling style to be the surprise package of this tournament.


But their run has been ended by the tournament nous of serial semi-finalists Sweden.


Spain continued their chaotic course through this tournament by knocking out The Netherlands to advance to their first ever Women’s World Cup semi-final. 


Plus we look ahead to the final quarter finals on Saturday: Australia vs France and England against Colombia.
