The Great Search - a non-sense-resistor Lipoly battery monitor replacement for LC709203

We've liked the LC709203 https://www.digikey.com/short/p2fpd502 for a while as a low-cost, no-sense-resistor-needed battery monitor. Sadly, the TQFN version is obsolete https://www.digikey.com/short/p2fpd502 and we're using the BGA version https://www.digikey.com/short/7549bd81 for now but...it's also end of line! Let's source a low cost (less than $2 in qty), I2C, resistor-less, 1-cell lipoly monitor chip that we can use when we run out of our LC709s.
