Alright friends,

Today's episode is not only a great conversation. It is an important one. We had the privilege of sitting down with Ta7talíya Michelle Nahanee. Ta7talíya is the founder and CEO of Decolonize Everything, a workshop based teaching tool that was developed to help people transform colonial narratives and create an awareness of the harm those narratives have been and are doing.

Ta7talíya is a decolonial creative & strategist catalyzing social change to transform colonial narratives & impacts. She works within the intersection of class, culture and creativity focusing on social change through communications and deep engagement. She has created a lifesize board game called "Sínulhkay and Ladders" that has participants walk through it, in a playful, but revelatory way, revealing how much we have been shaped by colonial practices.

In this conversation we touch on a number of topics, of her life and her work, but kept coming back to the central thread of decolonizing ourselves, by becoming aware, and committing to being better, making mistakes, and trying again, with open ears, eyes, and hearts.

We know you're going to be moved by this one!

With Gratitude,

Z&D
