Main Point:    A proper partaking of the Lord’s Table is an event that brings glory to God in the church and is a witness to the unsaved world.

1 Corinthians 11:17-34

We will be taking a look at the importance of celebrating the Lord’s table. We’ll consider 3 aspects of the Lord’s table found in this portion of scripture that will help us understand why the early Christians were devoted to it.

The Lord’s Table (communion)…

1. Should be an edifying event 

2. Is a new covenant for the church

3. Requires self-examination
