I first met Aleki at the Bridge Experience workshop in Brisbane that he attended with my wife. Two weeks later, I again found myself in his company at Unleash the Beast. 

The one thing I noticed about Aleki was his energy, charisma and, above all, his open heart. He would be the first to admit that this may have been a different case. Since then, we have participated twice on Kings Court in Sam Lewis’s Initiation back to Self Program. 

His bio on Instagram sums him up perfectly: “Love and kindness is a great gift to live daily with to share, makes everyday beautiful ⭐️Respect⭐️Love⭐️ Integrity⭐️. I love this man.

In this week's episode, Aleki walks us through his journey from being born in Tonga before moving to New Zealand, where he navigated through family violence and neglect, resulting in him finally getting married and migrating to Australia. He talks about his journey of seeking love and validation and how he hit rock bottom and lived in his car for four months. 

There were several suicidal thoughts along the way, with only the love for his kids keeping him alive. He has now emerged as an open-hearted, loving, compassionate man who provides love and service to those around him.

This episode runs longer than most; however, it is worth every minute as Aleki beautifully takes us on his journey of becoming a conscious man.
