MidWeek Episode 15 - The Lord’s Prayer “Father & Kingdom”

In the first episode of our new Midweek series on the Lord’s Prayer, we begin by discussing the nature of prayer generally, the Lord’s Prayer specifically, and the opening address of the prayer itself. Chris and Jon explore the fundamentally relational purpose of prayer and the potential for the prayer Jesus taught us to become a kind of model through which to deepen and extend our own prayer lives. We also reflect on what it means to refer to God as “Father,” emphasizing that in the opening address of the Lord’s Prayer, Jesus invites us into His own intimate relationship with His Father.
