Walter is orginally from Long Island, NY and made quite a name for himself writing songs and playing gigs on the Eastern end of the island. As fate would have it, upon producing his first album, a producer suggested that he explore his country roots in music. Moving South to Myrtle Beach, Walter met April Dawn.
