The roller-coaster of Peter's Christian life is no more evident anywhere in the Bible as it is here in Matthew 16. Peter confesses Jesus as both the Messiah and the Son of the living God; soon after Peter adamantly rebukes Jesus for revealing that he must suffer, die and rise again. This message will discuss Peter's place in the church as the "rock", as well as see how Peter's discipleship process is similar to ours as believers today.
