The new Star Wars movie is slated to come out in May 2026. There are big hope and need for Disney that Star Wars succeeds. There are approaches that Lucas Film has taken that some people might agree with and others don’t. The Director of the new Rey Skywalker film Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy says that she will be the first female crafting a Star Wars story. A lot of people have embraced the comments and a lot of people have pushed back on the comments. How should LucasFilm approach the new movie?
