Jeffrey Tucker and the Brownstone Institute Kick off 2023 with Unwavering Commitment to Honesty in Public Policy

Messy Times and the Brownstone Institute were both created to fight back against the tsunami of lies about the Wuhan Hysteria.  The Administrative State has not ceased in its Orwellian efforts to make everyone mouth insane lies.  The key to a complete governmental takeover of power is when a populace has been so beaten, bored and just wearied into mouthing the absurdities, if that is the "pass" to living a normal life.  

Lest anyone think that Elon Musk buying Twitter put an end to the bizarrely tight relationship between (mainly) Democrat government officials and the electronic public fora, think again.  Countless people are silenced and banned from platforms like LinkedIn (that values publishing rampant antisemitism over the free speech of a Jewish executive who points out the Jew Hatred), Reddit (which squashes anything even remotely endorsing free markets or classic American values) to Google/YouTube who went from "Don't Be Evil" to "Serve Every Leftist Censorship Duty We're Given from the Chinese Communist Party or the US Democrat Party - if One Can Tell the Difference Anymore."

Not as catchy as the original, but certainly accurate.   

We can remember a time not so long ago when journalists and public gadflies made it their sacred duty - often at real personal risk - to hold government to account.  How did that turn into a hand in glove relationship where the FBI, CIA, NSA and countless others like Representative Adam "Even for a politician, I lie like a drunken sailor" Schiff produced written documents showing how they demanded private companies censor things they didn't like?  They have grown so brazen in their lies that Administration officials will tell Congress under oath that "the border is secure" as millions of foreigners break our laws and invade our nation. 

Pay attention, kids.  These totalitarian clowns locked your kids out of school and yourselves as supposed "free adults" out of work - based on the false claim of "protecting us."  It was all a colossal lie.  They are still telling the lie and their enforcers are so effective I'm not even posting this episode to YouTube.  Not only have they not apologized, they refuse to admit despite the abundant empirical data that they were 100% wrong.  Wrong about all of it - the stupid masks mandates, the idiotic plexiglass in store interiors, the random "6 foot social distancing" nonsense which is not a medical or a scientific term, the fake vaccines which did NOTHING to prevent transmission - all of it was crap, pure and simple.  Those of us who stood up did so at real cost.

This government has been giving you the Groucho Marx treatment and daring you to object:  Whom do you believe? Me or your damned lying eyes?
