The bulk of Genesis 2 is dedicated to describing the creation of man and the garden in which God would place man to be his steward. This passage reveals a great deal to us about how the earth was made and prepared for man, and how the earth flourishes under the stewardship of a righteous man. Scripture flatly contradicts the prevailing notion that earth would be better off without humanity, and instead shows us how God made this earth for our use and enjoyment, yet with a regulation.
