“Letting Go” is one of the harder Wings songs to  get a handle on. What does he need to let go of — the obsessive level of  his attachment to Linda, as some writers have surmised, so that “like a  lucifer,” she can “always shine”? Or let go of a resistance to falling  even more madly and deeply?
