Kung Fu Panda 4 was pretty unnecessary but a nice addition to the franchise. While not as strong as the previous installments its starts off with the promise returning cast and characters, and it follows through on that promise minus the appearance of the Furious Five, consisting of Angelina Jolie, David Cross, Jackie Chan, Lucy Liu, and Seth Rogen, none of which appear in the film except for the credits, and a description of what each character is off doing. The Movie adds Viola Davis, and Awkwafina to the cast, providing a mediocre villain and a fun new side character, while both new characters are pretty meh, the two voice actors dominate each of their roles.
