Ryan breaks down the problems with a federal monopoly over the National Parks and Forests, and why local and private control would prevent the destruction and neglect occurring during the government shutdown. They look at how private businesses and communities are incentivized to care for and protect the land, and why it is far less likely the land will be overtaken by "greedy capitalists" when they are no longer under the control of the Federal government.
