High Risk, High Reward, Right? 

No.

High risk does not in any way ensure you of some sort of high reward. That would actually be the complete opposite of a risk. 

While higher rewards are (typically) achieved after taking bigger risks, I don't want anyone losing sight of what RISK actually is. 

Risk is not good and in its essence just means that there is a real good chance you are going to be affected by some danger, harm, or loss. 

Always be sure to calculate your risks, as well as manage them.
