Ep. 190: The Reality Of Being A Celebrity Makeup Artist - Andrea Samuels
On this episode of the Friends in Beauty podcast I welcome Andrea C. Samuels to the Friends in Beauty guest chair. Andrea is an award winning Celebrity Makeup Artist, Hair Stylist and Beauty Educator who excels in beauty, editorial and red carpet events nationwide and internationally.
Between 2013 to today, Andrea has assisted some of the industry’s top Makeup Artists such as Ashunta Sheriff, Sir John, DeShawn Hatcher, Gucci Westman and the late AJ Crimson. Andrea was the first makeup finalist for the Fall 2015 “Vfiles Made Fashion'' Show at NYFW and was the Key Makeup Artist for four runway designers sponsored by V Magazine.
In 2020, Andrea ventured into hairstyling to add to her arsenal of skills and completed her Cosmetology License at Paul Mitchell The School in California. Andrea has reached her 18th year of being a beauty professional and has garnered select clientele such as Versace, Gucci, Nike, Target, Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade, and the King of the Westcoast: Snoop Dogg.
