Serial killers, mass murderers, family annihilators. Why are some of us fascinated with them? We ask ourselves, what kind of person does it take to commit some of these horrendous crimes and why? We also refer to them as ‘evil’. But what is evil, and can we define it? We’ll look at some real-life and fictional evildoers and how they are portrayed in news, movies and literature. Finally, we will discuss possible reasons for our fascination with serial killers and what it may say about us. We most likely will not come up with any definitive answers, but if anything, to have an honest and interesting discussion on the topic and have some fun with it.
