Februarys are tough in Texas. For the THIRD year in a row we've had multi-day below freezing snow or ice. This is not for the faint of heart apparently. But this last week my part of Austin lost power for FOUR days (4!) and it got me to thinking - if it weren't for electricity our very industry wouldn't exist. The problem solving skills though might get us on those rescue boats if we needed to share our skills with humanity.
