Starr is the creator of the delicious, addictive, fun, and versatile, almond-based dip, Bitchin’ Sauce. 

Primarily self-taught in the kitchen and in business, Starr began selling Bitchin’ Sauce with her husband L.A. Edwards in the farmer's markets of San Diego in 2010. Their team has built Bitchin’ into a national brand now available in over 10K stores! 

In their fun conversation, they got Bitchin's founding story, their ingredients and formulation, and major inflection points for the brand. They also covered how Starr and their team think about investing in their people and giving back to their communities.  

They created Bitchin’ Kids to help their on-site staff with no-cost childcare, giving parents the opportunity to spend more time with their children. And in 2020, they mobilized their team for Bitchin' Givin', a paid volunteer time off program. 

Last but not least, they chatted about Starr’s never-ending entrepreneurial bug, and how they’ve leveraged their brand and success, to start a music label, beach club, and coffee company.
