Excellent library of technical explanations. If you ever run out of topics in the future, can probably start recycling old stuff to apply to topical use cases, ala current inscription and Segwit discount hysteria 🤣. Keep it up guys!

as for topics For future show, I have a need for some technical explanation, perhaps you could be of assistance, or I'm happy to be pointed to a prev episode where you cover this. Only ~ 08 Jan 2021 ep looks even close.
so i THOUGHT i knew how an LN channel closed, but: my node died, blue wallet sees the on chain stuff ok (yay), and i contacted other node operator and they closed channel out (yay) but my share of closing LN balance didnt go onchain. thanks.

even BETTER (or maybe as well as..):
FEDI. this is THE single best hope we have for BTC scaling.
i am now thoroughly convinced that the incentives for LN are not aligned with freedom or sovereignty. in my mind it was a great experiment, and good to have for now (maybe), but is definitly NOT the bright future for BTC. EG i am now both reluctant to open another channel (self custody) OR use it much in a cucked (custodial) way.

love it: idea for new show. talk through current scaling realistic, eg. what if argentina makes btc legal tender and millions must onboard. LN needs on chain tx to open a channel. Congestions if a bug is found and millions will close. Also your thoughts on it being realistic in the future, channel factories, atomic swaps etc.
