Sara is the Executive Director and Founder of the New Teacher Collective. An inclusive, online community built for teachers in their first five years to get support and development on their terms. Sara Jean is a master teacher who has won several awards including Denver Public Schools “2015 Teacher of the Year” and is an expert in Project-Based Learning and new teacher support and development. She has over a decade of experience in the classroom working with K-12 students and has been working with students with diversity of needs and backgrounds for over 15 years throughout the country.
