I give it a 33% chance I get everything posted right on Nostr by tomorrow night, but I’m 100% down to drop a $50 on my family. Thanks for keeping it fun!

I’m using Damus and Snort (laptop) as Nostr clients. Used Strike to buy, phone to edit, uploaded it to laptop. Then used Nostr.build to upload the picture. Tried uploading a cute message via Snort twice but never saw the message post. Sent link to my self via email then used my phone to post a note in Damus. #WorkedLikeACharm

Try Amethyst on the phone. It supports uploading photos directly from the phone. Super easy like any other app 😉

I don't care for NFT's, but perhaps this will make some sense of paying for something to be on the Blockchain. Gold has an accepted value that you can buy and sell at within a fairly reasonable range. You can buy a gold coin and give it to your wife, and it will still have a value at about what you paid for it. Instead, most people buy a ring or other piece of jewelry made of the same substance. They pay well over the value of the material, though, and it doesn't retain the extra value. Why?
