In this solo-led episode, I hold the fort while guests run late and we dive into a lively, freewheeling chat with listeners. We range from plans for a Waltham Abbey filming day (meridian line, abbey grounds, local shops) and travel tales across the UK and Europe (Czech trains, Moscow Metro, buses and trams) to the practicalities and philosophy of money: local currencies, crypto use and hurdles, gold vs fiat, and why everyday costs like transport, care homes and insurance feel rigged. We also tangle with governance and “militia vs peace officers,” inheritance, councils as corporations, and how social engineering shapes behaviour—always steering back to community solutions, kindness, and keeping things human-scale. Along the way: bikes vs cars, castor and black seed oil, gym-free fitness, and plenty of cheeky humour, listener quips, and live chat energy.  I share candid views on voting, policing, and media, ask whether regional self-governance and practical mutual aid could outdo central control, and swap notes on real-world fixes—from tabs at local shops to travel hacks and DIY health. It’s irreverent, interactive, and grounded in everyday experience—finished with plans for that sunny-day Waltham Abbey video tour and an invite to keep the conversation (and laughs) going.
