The 12 are known as Minor Prophets because their writings were shorter in length than the Major Prophets. However, their writings are no less important. They were the courageous and true spokesmen of God during the time of the great Assyrian, Babylonian, and Persian empires. They preached God’s word and they didn’t care who they offended. Even though they preached thousands of years ago, they have some of the most relevant and contemporary messages that you will find anywhere in the Bible.
