Influential People of Hampton Roads- David Wilson
was born in Chesapeake, Va. the oldest twin and has two entrepreneurial parents who raised three sons in the COGIC church.
David states that “he isn’t one that put’s himself out there like that” he is more of the behind the scenes person. He also stated that it was a shocker but it made him feel good when someone put his name under the post of “influential People of Hampton Roads.
During 2005 David began mentoring children through his friend (Jessica Freeman) ministry called ARISE. Starting with about 50 children and as of 2020 it has grown to over 500 children to attend the weekend long program during the month of February. This ministry aspires the youth that have dreams and visions to wake those dreams up. The children are from elementary to high school aged. ARISE provides several different types of hands on training on whatever it is that you want to do….
