Sure, everyone tells me that bitcoin is a new technology. That it's magic money for the internet and tokens you can buy and stick in an app that will probably be worth more later. But seriously... what the hell does all of that mean? I get that Bitcoin is a thing, but 'What is it?'

Disarming. Sincere. Prolific. .. and now hashing! thankyou Guy Swann, very impressed. As for requests etc: your read (#634) of dergigi's "the words we use in bitcoin" talks about wallet vs signing device, and also BIP179, IE invoices (not addresses). I've almost given up on trying to spread these 'tips', it feels like i'm pushing uphill. perhaps if all the new people coming in learn it right, then they can overwhelm us 'slower' peeps with better words?
