I don't think so, but hey maybe I am wrong. If you want to have comments attached to a podcast episode across ALL apps, you need a global state. You need to attach all the comments to one and only one RSS feed, and this has to be consistent across the globe - hence a global state. I don't think Nostr can solve this particular problem.

The solution to persistent Identities is VERY HARD (as hard as decentralized money because you need a global persistent tamper proof record), I don't think it is something you can "figure out" on the go. Fortunately the Bitcoin Layer 2 ION exists, go check that out!
