What is subclinical hypothyroidism? Subclinical hypothyroidism is supposed to be a state of low thyroid function which does not yet present with the symptoms of hypothyroidism or low thyroid function.
But there's one big problem...
Most people with subclinical hypothyroidism DO present with the symptoms of hypothyroidism which means that they really have true hypothyroidism and not the sub clinical subtype.
