Middle Aged Gaming 2020's the Game Show: The Best of 2020

It's been quite the year, hasn't it? Some ups, some downs... one really HUGE down... but it's pretty safe to say this years games were one of the ups. In this Episode, Crian and Adam list out some of their favorite games released in 2020.

Crian's Picks

My Friend Pedro

When your friend is a sentient banana, you'd do anything to keep it safe and happy. And the best way to do that? Kill everyone in the level. This puzzle shooter will give both your brain and trigger finger a work out as you take out your adversaries with more more smoothly than a slippery banana peel.

No Man's Sky: Origins

It had a rough start, but Hello Games has really turned No Man's Sky around. This latest update really delivers on many of those promises we did not see on the initial release, shaping this game to be one of the best space exploration games on the market.

Hearthstone: Duels

Crian does love his Hearthstone, and now he has yet another reason to play. Duels gives you access to new cards and ways to play that make the game easier to pick up than ever before. Great for both new comers and veterans.

Adam's Picks

Desperados III

A stealth puzzle game set in the wild west. What's not to love? Shoot, trap, lure, and voo doo your way across the map to achieve various objectives. And when you're done, there's plenty of bonus levels that can get pretty wacky for some fun shenanigans.

Final Fantasy VII Remake

One of the biggest RPGs of the 90's gets a modern makeover with added story and an overhauled battle system. Yes, this means there have been some changes, but for the most part it sticks to the original. Be warned though, this is just the first installment, only taking you through an expanded Midgar section of the original game.

Genshin Impact

Who doesn't love free games? Genshin Impact proves that you don't need to drop a dime for quality content... buuuuut it may make your life a bit easier if you do. That said, aside from the gatcha system, this game is solid fun.
