Inspired by a personal connection, Muriel dives deep into the notorious Chicago mobster Frank Nitti. Nick is (finally) delighted to learn about Nitti from his birth through taking over Al Capone's leadership of "The Outfit" and up until the bullets that narrowly missed President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Muriel's research got the better of her this week, and what was supposed to be an "easy" episode ended up being the first half of a massively epic story. Part Two coming next week.
