The fast-paced ER life called Erin into the emergency mental health field. Focusing on mental health, she completed a Master’s degree in Social Work, and went into ER long-term, becoming a wife and a mother of 4 , along the way.
A lot of experience and a diverse skillset comes with what she's learned over the past 20 years, learning methods that were life-changing for her, personally. Therapies such as, EMDR and ACT helped her in her own personal struggles and trauma. It helped her to go on, to be a functioning mother, wife, and social worker.
It also led her to become a more gifted therapist, helping others work through their own challenges and losses. She knows the power of finding the right counsel and lives her life as a testament to the transformation and resilience that is possible for you too.
In this episode, Erin discusses the mental health crisis in our youth today and what we can do, as parents, to become more involved in our kid's lives.
