Simran Wahan Artist, Art Therapist & Business Owner. Simran has been a traditional abstract artist for 23 years and works on large canvases & paper. She uses acrylic paints, watercolours, inks, screen prints & gelli prints to make the base of the abstract painting. The layering, texturing and detailing process requires curing and processing and includes working along with markers, crayons and ink blocks for details. Her digital abstract art is created on Procreate although the basics are still worked on paper. Simran’s work is inspired by Nature - Flowers & leaves, Elements of the Universe, patterns inspired by nature like corals, fins, insects, clouds, rainbow, etc. The processing time and completion of each of these art pieces range from 3 days to 7 days.  During this conversation, we discuss her journey as an artist, art therapist and business owner.
