Let's be real. We have all heard this said on the news at some point recently. Today I am questioning why.

Statistics are NOT valid ways to win an argument. Why? Because they can be skewed, invalid, inaccurate, or blatant lies! They also are an easy easy easy way to only give half of the story.

I managed to go back up to a little over 20 minutes today with this one because it turns out I'm weirdly passionate about explaining how statistics work and why we shouldn't be glued to them the way that we are.
