Ordinals are outside of Bitcoin and is a nothing burger. Inscriptions are created within rules of the Bitcoin protocol and are valid transactions. Let the free market decide if they have value, and if so, how much value. Isn’t that what we advocate for as Bitcoiners? That anyone is free to transact on the network, as long as the transactions follows consensus rules. Personally, I think inscriptions will eventually become 1sat dust utxos. I don't care for NFTs either but people are getting a little too excited over topic. When we hit hyperbitcoinization the blocks will be 100% full, this is inevitable, Ordinals has done us a huge favor in a way to preview the future.

I needed to hear this, we cannot stop it. We have to live with it, Casey is annoying but he has all the righ to build this, he just discovered something. If Bitcoin cannot cope with some bloat in the mempool… then WTF are even here for.

Treating ordinals as something serious is so cringe. Ordinals is basically a dude with a github account on the podcast circuit making Bitcoiner noises for attention, lulz, and donations.
