As the Guardians started their season at Oakland against the Athletics. In the meantime, Jason Bilous cleared waivers and we touch on why this could be a very good thing for the Guardians long term. It could be at least good for the Columbus Clippers.

Mike Zunino's blocking numbers early in the season on StatCast haven't been great and we get into what that could mean and what to watch for there.

Only Columbus is playing so far but Tyler Freeman and Bo Naylor are off to interesting starts, while the pitching is pretty bad.

Speaking of Naylor, the Guardians are listed as having some of the best speed in the majors so far in 2023 but Bo was slighted a little as someone who could drag that down later in the year.

We also touch on why it might be worth looking at BABIP (batting average on balls in play) differently going forward with some rule changes.
