Nehemiah 4:1-23; 6:1-7:4- The Church of Jesus Christ has always been in danger of attack from enemies of God. The reason is that the Kingdom of Darkness hates the Kingdom of God; they can not coexist. But the bigger threat to the church comes from the inside. Going along to get along; selfish clergy and lay leaders and grumbling members all threaten the church and expose her to danger. But the Lord loves her church and overcomes the danger by fighting for her.
